Most stories we read have a strong hero (females included), an anti-hero, or a fish out of water, which can also be called an average Joe…sephine?
My story does not.

Okay...hear me out.
It was weird watching the pandemic happen for many reasons. Mostly because it was my first one. Probably most people’s first one.
But having written three books on the apocalypse, I thought it might be my last. The similarities were eerie.

We think we are exempt from natural law. The very laws that created us. But a strong mutating, invisible virus can wipe out entire populations. Or a small increase in worldwide temperature. Or mostly ourselves, if being faced with a radical change to our way of living, or even our comfort level. We are no different, I thought, even though we think we are.
